of primarily the Deep South of the United States at the end of the 19th century from spirituals, work songs, field
hollers, shouts and chants, and rhymed simple narrative ballads.

Out of the Blue is one of the hardest hitting, no holds barred, blues bands to ever come out of the Midwest.  Based out of eastern Nebraska, these guys have played all over the United States and have developed a sound that is energetic, along with a delivery that is tight and precise.  They are the real deal, playing blues music that you normally would have to travel to the   “Big City” to hear.  Just when they have you feeling the blues groove, they will throw in some funk, R&B and blues-rock just to keep your attention.  They must be heard live to be believed!
